At the awards ceremony for the third edition of the Créativité Montréalcompetition, the Quartier des spectacles was recognized twice.

These two prizes, added to the four it has already won, bring the Quartier to six awards in total!

The wayfinding and street furniture pilot project, from Intégral Ruedi Baur and d’Intégral Jean Beaudoin, won the grand prize in the Unrealized Project (Professional) category, and earned praise from the jury: "Here is a project with light, graphic design, humor and a totally brilliant brand image: something that's very Montreal!"

The project to add interactivity to the dynamic marquee of La Vitrine, created by Axel Morgenthaler and Moment Factory for the previous La Nuit blanche à Montréal, won the Grand Prize in the Urban Integration - Design/Planning category for its "Luminous, interactive, playful and vibrant intervention".

The Quartier des spectacles Partnership, which supervises these projects that have now become "CréativitéMontréalized", is happy to receive such strong recognition from Montreal's design community. It confirms, once again, the quality of the collective process that forms the foundation of the Quartier des spectacles project.

The Partnership would like to thank the City of Montreal, the ministère des Affaires municipales et des Régions of Quebec, Moment Factory, Teksho, Schréder, Axel Morgenthaler, Intégral Ruedi Baur + Intégral Jean Beaudoin, La Vitrine and Martine Doyon (photographer).
