Champ de pixels

A work by Érick Villeneuve and Jean Beaudoin

This installation includes more than 400 light sources and interaction points distributed throughout the Place des Festivals. Participants are invited to ride one of the available BIXI bicycles around the site, powering the pixels and changing them from red to white.

This work was first presented on the place des Festivals from December 14, 2009 to January 6, 2010 and at place Émilie-Gamelin from December 15, 2010 to February 9, 2011 as part of the 1^st edition of Luminothérapie.
