NØRD

NØRD is a video projection that brings together the micro and the macro as it explores biodiversity through the territories and the rare species of the Far North. These breathtaking images, filmed in northern Norway and around the Arctic Circle, are visual poems that transport you to a surreal frozen land. On each of the four façades, the projection incorporates geometric shapes and architectural elements from the surrounding area, creating distinct atmospheres to discover.

The work is inspired by poems written for the Poets for Climate initiative, the result of a collaboration between the Africa, Canada and Philippines chapters of the Climate Reality Project and Agam Agenda, part of the programming of The Climate Dialogues. Four of the poems are included in NØRD.
