Something new in the Quartier des spectacles

On September 6, the Ville-Marie Borough Council unanimously adopted a resolution to allow those parking in the Quartier des spectacles to pay for three consecutive hours of parking (instead of the current two) after 6 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Say goodbye to running out of the movie before it's over, bothering everyone else in the row so you can get out and feed the meter, theatrical performances where you don't understand the ending because you're consumed with worry over a possible parking ticket…

The change will effective from the end of September. Stationnement de Montréal will attach stickers to the hundred parking meters in the Quartier des spectacles, to inform users of this positive initiative that confirms the importance given to culture in Montreal's downtown.
