YOU RAISE ME UP - CHARITY BALLET GALA

Founded three years ago, the CY School of Ballet has been persistent in their mission to instill a great love for dance, to help children understand perseverance and inspire self-confidence in an ambiance of enjoyment and excellence.
In the summer of 2022, 200 little dancers from the school will be performing on stage to share their passion. The oldest among the students is 14 years old while the youngest is only 3 years old. You will witness the path of budding ballet dancers, from tiptoeing to Grand Jeté, from balancing to Pirouette. The program includes variations of classical ballet repertoire, character dance and original neoclassical creation. This gala has also attracted the participation of professional artists. Dancers from Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, professional ballet students, and the champion of Canada Music Competition will all perform on stage.
CY School of Ballet would like to take this opportunity to help children to reach their full potential, to discover their passion and be fearless of the future. 50% of the profit will be donated to Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation.
