In an immense field of thousands of carnations, 22 graceful performers recreate a world at once tender and cruel, overflowing with a humanity that has captivated audiences around the world. Pina Bausch and the Tanztheater Wuppertal revolutionized live performance by initiating the great dance–theatre movement, whose creative influence continues to resonate today.
