STILL REICH brings together, in a single program, four choreographic pieces inspired by the vigor and musical constructions of the American contemporary composer, Steve Reich. Pathways is a synthesis of the language of the company Focus Cia de Dança and takes up the challenge of creating a new work from pre-existing ones.
Trilhas addresses the moment and the particle of the time that can and does change the next instant.
Wood steps is inspired by nomade life, people who live in the "world" and make their feet, their homes.
Keta means "third" in Yoruba. Reich composed Drumming, during a trip to Ghana in Africa. Beyond the rhythm, this universe tribal and ritualistic, is taken to the scene through a fast, lively and organic choreographic construction, showing bodies at their maximum power in a vigorous and at the same time human work.
