Presented as part of the Journées de la culture at the end of September, the Fête du Quartier invites you to chat with your neighbours and meet the Quartier’s cultural actors. You can also talk about the projects that are keeping the Quartier abuzz over a coffee and a treat during coffee gatherings organized by the Partnership and members of its Residents’ Committee.

From October 16 to 18, 2026, the Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ) and the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie invite you to take part in the 12th edition of La Grande marche, which will take place at the Quartier des spectacles on Sunday, October 18.
Organized by the FMOQ and the Grand défi Pierre Lavoie, this initiative aims to raise public awareness of the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle habits. Recommended by family physicians, La Grande marche promotes the benefits of physical activity and its essential role in preventing many diseases.
Free and open to everyone, the event will take place simultaneously in 126 cities across Québec, including Montréal, Québec City and Saguenay. Accessible 5 km walking routes will be offered. Participants can also join the movement at their own pace from home.

Traffic Impacts
Traffic disruptions are expected in the area during the event:
- Street closures: De Maisonneuve Boulevard will be closed to traffic between Saint-Urbain Street and Bleury Street, as well as on Jeanne-Mance Street and Balmoral Street, during the event weekend.
- Place des Arts parking garage: The Jeanne-Mance exit will be exceptionally closed on Sunday, October 18, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan their trips accordingly.
