The Quartier des Spectacles is getting some great new offerings! With a view to better welcoming visitors, residents, spectators and festivalgoers, transformation works are in development.

Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (MAC)
The Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal is undergoing its largest transformation project yet. The proposal by Saucier + Perrotte and GLCRM Architects will revamp the building’s façade, expand exhibition areas, and place education at the forefront.
Scheduled to reopen at Place des Arts in 2028, the MAC’s exhibitions are currently on display at Place Ville Marie.
