Foufounes Electriques opened its doors in May 1983 beginning what would become an extraordinary adventure on Montreal's cultural scene. It welcomes performances by the Smashing Pumpkins, Primus, Nine Inch nails, Nirvana. The Foufounes Electriques closed in 1993 because of its debt of $600 0000. A businessman decided to save the Foufounes Electriques. It now represents the underground industry in Montreal. Regular nights, shows, art exhibits, Cd launches, video releases.
