Notice to residents and workers in Quartier des Spectacles: UNDER PRESSURE

August 11 and 12, 2018

Under Pressure is a community festival that brings together visuals artists, music performers, dancers and other activites wich are all free. The festival highlights urban culture in all its forms and has activities for childrens, teens and adults.

STREET CLOSINGS

In order to proceed with the development/layout of the site, the smoot running of operations, and provide festival-goers with a festive and safe experience, automobile/vehicular traffic will have to be interrupted on certain streets.

Sainte-Catherine W Street and Boisbriand Street from Saint-Dominique Street and Hotel-de-Ville Avenue will be closed.

These streets closures would be necessary on August 11 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and August 12 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m..

SETUP AND TEARDOWN

Setup will take place on August 11 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Teardown will take place on August 12 from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.

SOUND CHECKS

In order to present high-quality shows, the team will perform sound checks on:

August 11 from 11 a.m. to noon.

OUTDOOR SITE SCHEDULE

Activities will be held on August 11 and August 12 from noon to 9 p.m.

INFORMATION AND COMMENTS

The event organizers care about the quality of life of local residents and businesspeople, and will strive to minimize any and all potential negative impacts of holding the event in the Quartier.
