The Festival International Nuits d’Afrique is back in Montreal, turning the city into a worldwide musical journey and a concentrate of festive delight. Unique, dynamic and unifying, the festival offers memorable evenings, irresistible favourites and magical moments
STREET CLOSINGS
In order to set up the site, ensure efficient operations and help festivalgoers enjoy a fun, safe experience, it is necessary to close certain streets to vehicle traffic from July 13 to 24.
- De Maisonneuve boulevard between Clark and Saint-Urbain street
- North side of De Maisonneuve boulevard between St-Laurent and Clark street
- Clark street between De Montigny and Ontario sreet
- East side of Saint-Urbain street between Président Kennedy and De Montigny
- North side of de Montigny street between Clark street et Saint-Urbain street
SETUP AND TEARDOWN
- Setup will take place from Thursday, July 12, 7 a.m. to Tuesday, July 17 noon.
- Teardown will take place from Sunday, July 22, midnight to Tuesday, July 24, 4 p.m.
SOUND CHECKS
In order to ensure high production values, the Festival team must run sound checks. These will take place on TD – ICI MUSIQUE stage at various times during the periods indicated.
- July 17 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- July 18 and 20 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- July 19 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- July 21 and 22 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
OUTDOOR SITE SCHEDULE
The event will take place from July 17 to 20 from 1 p.m. to midnight and July 21 to 22 from 11 a.m. to midnight.

SITE RULES
To ensure a safe environment for all and to respect obligations related to public gatherings, certain rules must be followed on the outdoor site during event hours.
When you arrive, our hospitality and security staff will ask you to open your bags to check the contents. Motorized vehicles, bicycles, skateboards and in-line skates are not permitted on the site. Dogs, alcohol, glass containers and weapons are also prohibited.
We are counting on your cooperation to ensure that everyone has a pleasant and safe experience.
INFORMATION AND COMMENTS
The event organizers care about the quality of life of local residents and businesspeople, and will strive to minimize any and all potential negative impacts of holding the event in the Quartier.
