Alice refuses to do her homework. Preferring instead to play and daydream, she hides away in her father’s study. Seemingly out of nowhere, a curious book-eating rabbit soon arrives. Trying to stop the rodent from devouring all the books in the study, Alice chases him into his burrow, where she discovers an incredible world: Wonderland. Late for his appointment with the Queen of Hearts, the rabbit hastily leaves Alice behind, forgetting his gloves… gloves that he absolutely must wear in the Queen’s presence—or face losing his head! Eager to save the rabbit’s life, Alice sets off to his rescue and, along the way, encounters such strange and fascinating characters as Humpty Dumpty the egg, a philosophical caterpillar, twins Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, and Sam the Snark hunter, in this intriguing world where rabbits run late and quarrels make good friends...
