INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM: IX IMMERSION EXPERIENCE

The international symposium: ix immersion experience will be held in Montréal. This new annual gathering sheds light on the work of artists and researchers in digital arts around the world and offers a showcase for exemplary art projects related to new practices in immersive creation. The ix symposium establishes a rich and open exchange platform via a series of lectures, demonstrations/workshops, performances and immersive films. To confirm Montréal's position as an avant-garde hub in the field, the symposium's mission will be to consolidate practices, develop a creation and dissemination network and establish a critical discourse on the medium, while joining forces to take action on the common issues of the emergence of one of the most innovative aspects of the digital arts: immersion.
