Bradford Kessler uses many techniques in his absurd video works including animation, green screen, digital sculpture software and found movie clips to cross the aesthetics of science fiction movies and instructional videos. In Saving the Planet (2011), voice actor Jordan Lanan voices Michael Keaton's Beetlejuice while reading the stand up bit of the same title by George Carlin. Charles Darwin costumed as the Bioexorcist Beetlejuice is then animated to read the script which concludes that man's purpose on this earth is to create plastic. In Primum Mobile Network (2011), Kessler uses found movie clips with an original soundtrack to create a Yellow Brick Road type of journey inward toward the most inner core of your brain. Under the construction and tone of an instructional video for setting up your home wireless network, we watch scenes of character using torches to search through dark, unknown environments. The female voice asks us personal questions such as "When is the first time you lied?" "What did you lie about?" In Accident Study (2011), Kessler uses architectural software to whisk the camera inside a storm of static where the artist himself enters and uses a computer with penis shaped joystick to control a birth simulation.
