Every Thursday from August 27 to September 17 at 5:30 p.m., UQAM and Nouveau Projet magazine present a series of short lectures (in French) co-produced by the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership.

Thursday September 3

(In French) Social entrepreneurship: a utopian idea? With Annie Camus – professor of organizational studies and human resources, UQAM management school. Which alternative models could make it possible to rethink companies, work or even the economy? Understanding them, identifying them and assessing their capacity to change the world.

Thursday September 10

(In French) Who do we work for? With Simon Levesque – Doctoral student in semiology, UQAM How do we differentiate between activities inside and outside the sphere of work? Is it necessary or profitable to maintain the distinction, or would it be better to create new categories that better fit our new realities?

Thursday September 17

(In French) What motivates us? with Jacques Forest – Professor, organizational studies and human resources, UQAM management school. To prevent employees from getting stuck in the ditch at work, bring in the “CAA”: competence, autonomy and affiliation. This lecture will help listeners understand their work environments and especially see the improvements and courses of action that can help everyone perform to their full potential.
