CHOEUR BAOBAB

Travel with the rhythms of world music with the Chœur Baobab! This groovy a capella choir thrills audiences with multicultural and gospel songs from 15 different countries in 14 different languages. Discover the diversity of the music of the world in a festive atmosphere under the energetic direction of Claude-Marie Landré. The 20 voices of the Baobab Choir will transport you to South Africa, Mexico, Haiti, India, Serbia, Japan, Nigeria, and Aruba, among others. Percussionist Éric Tremblay will be joining us as a special guest.

Since 2009, the Baobab Choir has participated in many events, including: the Mondial Loto-Québec, Les Journées de la culture, the Montréal en lumière festival, les journées africaines, the benefit evening of the Ligue des droit et libertés, as well as collaborating with hip hop artists in the preparation of two albums.
