Winners of the 2024 Syli d’or de la musique du monde, 17th edition!

The five friends from diverse Latin American backgrounds that formed this Montréal-based group explore cumbia in all its forms: sabanera, regjada, villera, Mexican… each piece is played with gusto by the experienced percussionists, meticulous accordionist, exuberant bassist and a singer with a full-on stage presence.
