Bach Before Bedtime’s Day at the Opera explores Bizet’s Carmen in a format ideally suited for children; bringing together singers, a string quartet, a woodwind quintet and English and French narration; complete with singalongs and dancing. In only 45 minutes, children are introduced to the world of classical music and the well known arias of Carmen in an interactive and relaxed atmosphere. The interactive concert gives children the feeling that they are part of the story, joining in throughout the show to sing and dance with the artists. BBB’s Day at the Opera offers the perfect recipe to create lifelong memories and to make young and old fall in love with classical music.
