The public will be invited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Denis Villeneuve’s film UN 32 AOÛT SUR TERRE. Presented in a restored version by Éléphant - mémoire du cinéma québécois, the film features Pascale Bussières and Alexis Martin in a road movie to (re)discover. The first feature film by Denis Villeneuve, this classic of Québec cinema returns to the big screen for an evening under the stars, to the delight of film lovers.
Having almost died in a car accident, 26-year-old Simone Prévost gives up her modeling career and asks Philippe, her best friend, to have a child. Although in love with her, Philippe poses a dilatory condition: the child must be conceived in a desert. They live together in the salt desert of Utah where Philip’s life will also be endangered.
