This Finnish duo brings together a distinguished accordionist and a singer who masters the art of joik—a traditional form of song performed by the Sami indigenous people. They celebrate Sami culture, highlighting improvisation during their performances, and have built themselves a solid international reputation. Their first album, Vildaluodda, is considered one of the best releases of 2019.
