RETROUVAILLES INTIMISTES

Dedicated to the discovery and rediscovery of music, Kô is a Montreal-based a cappella vocal ensemble specializing in early and contemporary music, with a particular propensity for the performance of unpublished and little-known works. The ensemble shares its deep appreciation for its repertoire through the juxtaposition of works that are temporally distant, but closely related in their timeless artistic essence.

The concert "Retrouvailles intimistes" will be the ensemble's first public appearance since the pandemic. Kô will reunite with its audience through a selection of polyphonic a cappella works, as well as works for soprano and piano, violin and piano, and solo violin - including several premieres. These will be performed by the members of Kô and a violinist collaborator.
