TECHNO WORLDS is a Goethe-Institut exhibition that is shown in museums and other exhibition venues internationally and can be seen in Montréal at the Goethe-Institut, the PHI Centre and the Société des arts technologiques.
TECHNO WORLDS is an exhibition at the crossroads of music, art, pop, media and technology in relation to the multifaceted techno scene, genres and political projects stemming from the subcultures of the 1980s to today and traces the processes of cultural and economic appropriation.
As part of the anniversary celebrations of those three institutions, we invite you to discover techno-culture through the exhibition TECHNO WORLDS, following a course in three stages:
1. The exhibition at the PHI Centre during the day
2. The rave culture at the SAT in the evening
3. The exhibition at the Goethe Institute from sunset to midnight
A new iteration of the exhibition featuring more than 20 international artists, musicians and filmmakers blurring the lines between art and music.
