LES COULISSES DE VERY NICE, VERY NICE

The Cinematheque has chosen from its reserves some of the precious photos used to create the short film Very Nice, Very Nice. This landmark film by Arthur Lipsett is also a masterpiece of Canadian experimental animation. The viewer will have the opportunity to admire the photochemical photographs as well as the complexity of the edited sequences of images and the skill of the artist. Historical documents, such as a letter of congratulations from Stanley Kubrick and the storyboard,
broaden the scope of this exhibition.
