Galerie B-312 is pleased to be associated with seven Montreal artist centers and six Havanese partners as part of Montreal ~ Habana: Encounters in Contemporary Art / Encuentros de Arte Contemporáneo, an exchange project aimed at dissemination, the production and dialogues between artists and cultural workers from La Habana and Montreal. In the spring of 2019, a total of thirty-five Cuban artists and curators participated in the first Montréal component of this project through the presentation of residencies, exhibitions, video projections and guided tours. From October until December 2019, artists and curators from Montreal will travel to Cuba to invest in the Artista X Artista Center, the Avecez Art Space and the Centro de Desarrollo de las Artes Visuales.
