If Marty Christian's music seems to be coming from the back of a 1950s Soul and Blues juke-joints circuit, it's probably because he spent his life traveling to listen and play with some of the musicians who contributed to its creation. The influence of Marty's Blues comes directly from the performance and recording with Henry Gray (2008-2012), pianist Howlin 'Wolf of Chess Records and Carol Fran, singer diva of the Gulf Coast Soul and outstanding musician of Excello and Black Top records.
