Léonie Gray, Montreal's soul-jazz-R & B artist, composes ballads of great delicacy and high vocal quality in English. She moves from sophisticated orchestrations to an intimate pop-soul register through a soft or powerful voice. Her compositions are tinged with vulnerability in her themes such as blooming, mental illnesses, interpersonal relationships, feminism. Léonie Gray proposes a repertoire of Soul compositions in which her vocal performances are put in front of the stage.
In 2018, she unveiled "A Night at Honey's" and "GROWTH" and continued with "Sensitive" in the spring of 2019, an Ep composed, written, produced and mixed by herself.

Orest Harmatiuk is a very prolific drummer from Montreal. He has played with many musicians and performs with different jazz bands every month. For this show at L'Escalier he formed a trio with Rivo Rabeson on piano and
Médéryc Titi on the bass.
