Over the summer of 2016, André Brassard (stage and film director, actor) talked to us about his life. "This is my last speech, it’s what I want to say before leaving." A film, a testament. For one hour, every week that summer, Brassard recounted in flashbacks his roller coaster existence with sincerity, intelligence and humour. “I was spoiled by life and now I have nothing,” says the man who revolutionized Quebec theatre and created almost all of Michel Tremblay's plays. For years, André, victim of a stroke, has been wheelchair bound in his Montréal apartment. "I'm not happy to live, I'm tired. If death was a taxi, I'd call it," murmurs André, clumsily tracing with his finger the words: The End. WORLD PREMIERE
