Ma Première Place des Arts: 1:30 pm, 2:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm
As part of the Journées de la Culture celebrations, SACEF is giving you a chance to hear the finalists and winners of the 20th edition of the Ma Première Place des Arts competition. Appearing on stage in the Espace Culturel Georges-Émile-Lapalme will be Mathieu Bérubé and Shadrack Abel Kétant at 1:30 pm; Gabrielle Cloutier and Charles Robert at 2:30 pm; and, lastly, Julien Gagné and Martin Provost at 4:30 pm. At 5:30 pm, on the same stage, Valérie Dumas (winner of the performer category) and Antoine Ménard (winner of the singer-songwriter category) will present a brief excerpt of their free show that will bring the day to a wonderful close in Salle Claude-Léveillée at 8 pm, sharing their delight in bringing you songs that thrill them.

Go behind the scenes of a large-scale production at the Opéra de Montréal: Nabucco! A tour of the company with General Director Pierre Dufour and Artistic Director Michel Beaulac.
Jouer Peter et Alice: 3 pm to 3:30 pm
Assist 20 participants, previously chosen, get an opportunity to exercise their acting talent by rehearsing a brief excerpt of the play Peter et Alice while doing a public reading of the excerpts under the stage director’s guidance Hugo Bélanger.
