MUSIQUE(S) DU FEU

This major free concert is paying tribute to Gilles Tremblay and François Morel, two pillars of Quebec contemporary music who passed away in the past two years. With music that evokes fiery inflections and Gregorian chants, the conductor takes us through a genuine sound cathedral. Crowned by an orchestral work by a “master of these masters”, Olivier Messiaen, who was also inspired by large sacred spaces, this concert pays a post-mortem tribute as majestic and bright as these renowned Canadian composers.
