As a prelude to winter, Alexandre Bloch—a promising young French conductor with a burgeoning international reputation—will make his first visit to Canada! Through the music of Corelli and Tchaikovsky, he will explore our coldest season. The remarkable cellist Stéphane Tétreault, our first ever Soloist-in-Residence and an audience favourite, joins him in a performance of the famous Variations on a Rococo Theme.
