Arprim, centre d’essai en art imprimé, CIRCA art actuel and Galerie B-312 are happy to invite you to Gráfica abierta: Rutas expansivas en la gráfica Mexicana, a group exhibition curated by Santiago Pérez Garci, director of Mexico City’s Museo Nacional de la Estampa. These artist-run centers of the Belgo Building will be showcasing works by Ernesto Alva, Omar Barquet, Demián Flores, Magali Lara, Ilán Liberman, Laura Valencia Lozado, Nuria Montiel and the duo Estencil and Carla Rippey.
To bring to light the revival of printmaking, the curator has chosen the field’s growing interdisciplinarity as central theme for the exhibition, uniting works that, each in their own way, transcend the limits of traditional models.
The opening and a performance by Omar Barquet will be held on Saturday, October 27, starting at 3 p.m.
