The Société de musique contemporaine du Québec (SMCQ), in collaboration with the Commission scolaire de Montréal (CSDM), invites schools to participate in the Compositeurs en herbe concert at Complexe Desjardins’s La Grande-Place! At 12 pm.
Come and discover the musical talent of local children! School groups will present their own compositions, or play works especially composed for them, in a free concert. This is the culminating point of a project spread out over several months, initiating students into contemporary music and musical creation. This event brings young people a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to express their originality before a live audience . . . and brings the audience to discover a particularly refreshing musical world!
