MICHEL ROBICHAUD | FASHION MAN
Information on the activity
Dates to come
Renowned designer, Michel Robichaud is a true pioneer of Quebec fashion! From the launch of his first haute couture collection in the early 60s, he quickly surrounded himself with a loyal clientele among the elites, such as actress Elizabeth Taylor. This year, the McCord Museum celebrates his exceptional talent with the exhibition Fashioning Expo 67, where many of the uniforms he created for the hostesses of the event are presented. In addition to designing the uniforms of Air Canada’s flight attendants, his creations ranged from fur collections and ready-to-wear to numerous accessories for both men and women. Knowing no limits, he is also the creator Quebec’s first perfume, Brunante!
