JEAN-PIERRE GAUTHIER | MARQUEURS D'INCERTITUDE

ELLEPHANT is pleased to present Uncertainty Markers, a series of four new drawing machines by Montreal-based artist Jean-Pierre Gauthier. Born in Matane (Québec, Canada) in 1965, Gauthier has a hybrid practice that incorporates visual and audio arts. He was the winner of the prestigious Sobey Art Award in 2004, also the recipient of the Victor Martyn Lynch-Stauton Award in 2006 and the Louis-Comtois Award in 2012.
