With its 21 strings, the kora is a fascinating instrument that, more than any other, evokes Africa’s Mandinka culture, with its seven centuries of history, its traditions, and the life that flows gently from them. Zal Sissokho and Mamadou Diabaté, Grammy Award winner in 2010, two griots who are virtuoso on this harp-cum-lute, will each present a finesse-filled show. A soothing journey and a source of beauty and serenity.
