Rulers of the Universe (Toronto)
Hi! We’re ecstatic to be back in Montreal for the 3rd straight year. We’ve got lots of cool new stuff planned for you—come on out! They wouldn’t keep asking us back if we weren’t amazing. Unless they have a sinister plan. Hm. Please come save see us.

The Rocket Scientists (Toronto)
The Rocket Scientists are smart, silly, often nerdy and always a blast. Their high-concept style plays with genre and language, garnering them coverage in various Toronto publications, along with an interview for BiteTV. In their debut year with the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival (2013), they were the winners of the ‘Steamwhistle Producers’ Pick Award’.

Founded in 2011, the Rocket Scientists have played in venues all across the city of Toronto, including a jointly produced show with NXNE and Toronto Sketchfest this past year. In November 2013, the boys took part in the New York Sketch Comedy Festival. In February, they performed two shows in their second year with Toronto Sketchfest. They continue to produce new and original material on a monthly basis, and have collaborated with many fantastic sketch troupes to produce high quality comedy shows that are always well received with their audience.

This is The Rocket Scientists’ first year in the Montreal Sketch Comedy Festival, and they couldn’t be more excited!

Individually, the Rocket Scientists are: Ephraim Ellis, Brandon Hackett, Kevin Macneil, and Chris Small.

Baby Shoes (NY)
Simple words, big feelings, and lots and lots of dumb, funny, and extreme scenarios. Just like Funny-Man Ernest Hemingway would have wanted.

Baby Shoes, one of the six house sketch teams of the Magnet Theater in NYC, was formed by Beth Newell in September 2013. We perform every three weeks at the Magnet. Baby Shoes is Roger Ainslie, Chano Garcia, Bob Kern, Ally Kornfeld, Michael McLarnon, Megan Meadows, Andy Moskowitz, Nivea Serrao and Amanda Ariel Peggy Xeller. Directed by Alex Marino.
