Born in Canada to an Argentinean father and Scottish mother, Alejandra Ribera belongs to that family of unclassifiable, cosmopolitan artists who travel in the empyrean of the artistic dream-state. With her bold, powerful voice, she creates a chamber pop that soars over musical continents, with streaks of jazz, folk and Latin music. Two years after her stunning album La Boca, which took her all over the Americas and Europe, the artist has us eagerly awaiting her new one due in January.
