THE TORONTO SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Information on the activity
Dates to come
As part of the 2016-2017 season, the TSO visits the Maison symphonique de Montréal, and the OSM reciprocates with a concert in Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall in December: a tradition dating back to 1966!
Stewart Goodyear, one of the leading Canadian pianists of his generation, performs Tchaikovsky’s memorable Piano Concerto, a work whose lyricism never fails to affect audiences to the core. Also on the program, Dvorák’s Seventh Symphony, heavily influenced by the Romanticism of Brahms, is one of the Czech composer’s most heartfelt compositions.
