The sixteen Monsieur Rose figures take their places and brighten up the city with their vibrant colors. The route passes through iconic locations in downtown Montreal, from the Nouveau Centre (Esplanade PVM à Place Ville Marie, Fairmont Le Reine Elizabeth, Place Montréal Trust, and Centre Eaton de Montréal) to the Quartier des Spectacles, via Square Phillips, Complexe Desjardins, and Place des Arts.
The route also features an original digital work bringing Monsieur Rose to life, created by Montreal artist Jérémy Fassio in collaboration with Philippe Katerine, on the facades of the Quartier des Spectacles and Place des Arts.

As part of the Le Mignonisme par Philippe Katerine, the multifaceted French artist is offering a lecture-concert entitled Ce que je sais de la mort, Ce que je sais de l’amour (What I Know About Death, What I Know About Love). Accompanied by musician Philippe Eveno, Philippe Katerine invites you to experience an intimate and extraordinary evening, in collaboration with Place des Arts.

Philippe Katerine invites the public to come and meet him and immerse themselves in his artistic movement, Mignonism, with its decidedly poetic and offbeat influences.
The visual artist presents his latest book*, featuring more than 70 Mignonist drawings. You can also purchase a mini Monsieur Rose, the emblem of Mignonism, created by the artist, as well as other Mignonist objects.

In the Esplanade Tranquille pavilion, discover Mignonisme and Monsieur Rose through artistic activities, including drawings, a fun booklet, and the creation of your own little Monsieur Rose figures out of modeling clay.
Le Mignonisme by Philippe Katerine is a presentation of the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership with the collaboration of the rentingART agency, which organizes international touring for the Mignonisme works. This project is made possible by the financial support and cooperation of the borough of Ville-Marie, Nouveau Centre by Ivanhoé Cambridge, Tourisme Montréal, Place des Arts, Complexe Desjardins, Montréal centre-ville and the Ville de Montréal.
