Lumière sur la relève

For its second edition, La rentrée de la relève is becoming Lumière sur la relève! The Quartier des Spectacles Partnership is renewing this video projection itinerary to showcase the talent of Montreal and Quebec's artistic and creative community in digital production from September 4 to 24, 2025. For three weeks, six video projections created by emerging artists will be shown on the facades of the WILDER Building | Espace danse and the Grande Bibliothèque, as well as, new for 2025, on the facades near the Saint-Laurent metro station and the UQAM Design Pavilion.
 

The video projections were selected following a call for projects launched in the spring of 2025 by the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership. The jury was composed of industry professionals: Vincent Bilodeau (Creative Director, Colegram), Clara Déry (Assistant Director, Société des arts technologiques [SAT]), Cecilia Ramirez (Director of Partnerships and Business Development, National Film Board of Canada), and Shantal Bourdelais (Programming Manager, Quartier des Spectacles Partnership). The jury selected the following six works: Look up by HEXA (Roméo Girard, Justine Gagnon, Émilie Cayer, Jean-Marie Gariépy, and Michaël Janes-Villiard), Earthly Odyssey by Samuel Chapleau, Blowing a bubble by Étienne Martin, Regard posé by Mathilde Chamussy, Kisses by Vénus Grivegnée, and New Landscapes by Junior Vigneault.
