In Virgil's Aeneid, Laocoön is punished by the gods for attempting to save the Trojans from their fate. This series of photographs references pictorial representations of the myth, as well as the plight of contemporary whistleblowers, who are oppressed by the authorities whose abuses they are trying to bring to light.
