Each year, Les Jardins Gamelin offer a festive, colourful, green and gourmet program with performances by artists from all over the world and a wide range of activities for young and old!

A diverse, cultural rich, festive living space – 100 % Montreal !

A diverse program and performances by artists from all walks of life promise to amaze you and, of course, offer plenty of opportunities to dance! In a relaxed atmosphere, take a break on the large terrace with the return of Les Survenants snack bar to enjoy the beautiful summer days with friends and family.

For ten years now, the Jardins Gamelin have been rooted in Place Émilie-Gamelin, located just steps away from the Quartier latin. They embody the values of social inclusion, collaboration, and cohabitation. We also celebrate the central role of urban agriculture with the organization Sentier urbain, which is at the forefront of our commitment.

Over the years, the Jardins Gamelin have evolved with increasingly inspiring themes, a redesigned layout to better meet the needs of our community, and free cultural and musical programming that faithfully reflects Montreal's diversity and artistic richness.

The Jardins Gamelin initiative and the revitalization of this public space are made possible by the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership, with support from the Ville-Marie borough, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, and the Canada Council for the Arts, as well as the collaboration of numerous partners, including Sentier Urbain, the Société de développement social, and the SPVM.

Programming

Les Jardins Gamelin offers free program for all, 7 days a week, for everyone. There are 14 diverse activity series taking place each day, from noon to evening, with dancing, concerts, urban agriculture workshops, music of every genre and a host of fun activities for both adults and children. Several festivals will also use the site as a venue over the course of the season.
