Comprising a thousand large logs scattered along Sainte-Catherine Street between De Bleury and Clark streets, this work is a metaphorical representation of river driving, the 19th century practice of transporting timber by floating it down Quebec’s rivers.
By working a spectacular transformation of the Quartier des Spectacles’ pedestrian zone, the work encourages visitors to reconnect with nature and rediscover an important part of our history.
