Recognition by and for the people who make the Quartier des spectacles
After careful consideration of the question of memory and recognition, the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership launched its Prix reconnaissance in 2023. The prize is a video projection tribute – one of the signature art forms of the Quartier des Spectacles. It salutes one or more people who have shaped the Quartier. Each year the Partnership sends a call for nominations to the partners, and a jury of local cultural professionals selects the honourees in the various categories. The first edition, marking the 20th anniversary of the Quartier des Spectacles, highlighted 25 notable people.
