LET THE PARTY BEGIN!

On Thursday, May 26, starting at 5 p.m., Les Jardins will get the evening started with the hot international beats of DJ Sugarface BelFo, setting a celebratory tone for the night. The DJ set will be followed by La Fanfare Jarry, who will wander the site starting at 6:30 p.m. to serenade diners with traditional Balkan music. At 8 p.m., the concert portion of the evening will start with the refreshing electro-pop sounds of the duo Titelaine. Finally, at 9:15 p.m., The Brooks will take the stage with their powerful and electrifying groove and funk. Mark your calendars and confirm your attendance on the Facebook event!

URBAN AGRICULTURE, MUSIC AND GAMES: THE JARDINS CLASSICS ARE BACK

Every day, Les Jardins Gamelin will present a series of free events. Urban agriculture will take centre stage in this living space, with Sentier Urbain tending to the theme gardens, greenhouse and butterfly farm, as well as offering its popular workshops. At all times of day, Radio-Canada OHdio will set the tone for the Jardins with a danceable, festive and diverse playlist highlighting francophone and world music. All summer long, in the southern portion of the Jardins, visitors will be able to explore two open-air exhibits, one organized by the Société de développement social de Ville-Marie and the other by the BAnQ. Finally, games will be in the spotlight every day with the return of the giant games and the long-term partnership with the Randolph board game cafe. Every Sunday afternoon, Randolph will be present in Les Jardins to guide you through its game and thematic quizzes as part of the T’as de beaux jeux series. Full details of the program will be announced on May 26.

THE RETURN OF THE SNACK BAR AND LES SURVENANTS

This year, the snack bar and bar on the Jardins Gamelin terrasse will welcome Les Survenants, a team of street food enthusiasts. They have designed a menu filled with classics with a Gamelin twist and have a number of culinary surprises in store for the season. This appetizing and colourful setting designed by the multidisciplinary design workshop EN TEMPS ET LIEU will be the perfect place to take a lunch break, enjoy happy hour or spend an entire hot summer day in the heart of Montreal.
