Founded in 1996 by graffiti artists Seaz and Flow, Under Pressure is the largest and longest-running festival of its kind in North America. The event celebrates urban culture while emphasizing community development, artist empowerment and positive youth engagement through shared responsibility and stewardship of a common space. Located in the heart of Montréal’s Quartier des Spectacles, the festival brings together over a hundred local, national and international artists for a weekend of activity. Attendees can witness mural creations, artistic interventions on public furniture, musical performances and street dance competitions.
