Noël dans le parc

Festivals

After humble beginnings in 1994 with a trio of Gypsy musicians, a barrel of fire, and around a hundred Christmas trees, this festival has grown to become Montreal’s largest holiday celebration. Each December, it presents a multidisciplinary program showcasing artists from diverse backgrounds across three city locations: the Parterre du Quartier des Spectacles, the Parc des Compagnons-du-Saint-Laurent and Parc Lahaie. Built on ever-expanding partnerships, the festival offers an increasingly varied free program that appeals to audiences of all ages. Since 2021, it has also taken place in the village of Saint-Élie-de-Caxton in the Mauricie region, under the name Festival Noël dans l’Caxton.
