Les Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma
The only festival dedicated exclusively to Quebec cinema, Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma has been celebrating and showcasing the local cinema scene for more than 40 years. Encompassing a mosaic of cinematic genres and approaches, and bringing together the work of emerging and established filmmakers alike, each year the Rendez-vous Québec Cinéma presents the most important program of Quebec films in the world for nine days straight. The event is a joy for film enthusiasts drawn by the selection of nearly 200 films—including some one hundred premieres—and by the many free events that contribute to the success of each edition. This event, which reflects the richness and diversity of Quebec culture, not only brings the general public in contact with local cinema, but also encourages industry professionals in their unique artistic approach.
