Founded in 1990, Land InSIGHTS is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of indigenous cultures. Today, Land InSIGHTS is the driving force behind the First Peoples Festival, a multi-disciplinary cultural and artistic event that, for 10 days in August, makes Montreal the centre of indigenous creativity in the Americas. The organization contributes to the artistic and cultural renaissance of the First Peoples in a perspective of sustainable development based on friendship between peoples, the diversity of sources of expression as a collective wealth to be shared, and recognition of the specificity of the First Nations.
